Spending time helping those in need is a great way to bring joy! Below there is a list of other ways to spread Holiday cheer while not breaking the bank.  If you are local to the Torrington Area chances are you’ve heard of Christmas Village. Christmas Village has been a family tradition since 1947 bringing the North Pole to life in Torrington, CT. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive from the North Pole for the three weeks leading up to Christmas and go back to the North Pole on Christmas Eve to prepare for his long night ahead. He brings his elves to work on toys in the workshop and the reindeer for the patrons to view. This Christmas tradition is able to go on year after year because of all the amazing Volunteers who donate their time to either be an elf, Mrs. Claus, or the magical man himself Santa. This is a great opportunity for people of all ages to volunteer to keep the magical tradition of Christmas Village alive.  Attached is a link for more information and how to volunteer.  https://www.christmastimeintorrington.org/christmas-village.html
